Achieving both Bachelor of Arts Honours and a Master of Architecture, I recently took a year out to travel and further develop my skills in photography and drawing.
I use photography as an outlet to express my thoughts and highlight moments I’ve been through. The use of photography has always compelled me to not only think about the subject matter, but also senses you can’t necessarily capture in an image, that either being the sound or smell.
When photographing I try to think about how these aspects can be installed into the final edit to create a definitive image full of atmosphere and character. I believe this trait has been especially helpful within my architectural design as I am able to reflect on the work I carry out, whether it be a model or drawing.
Looking to now work as an architectural assistant I possess a strong eye for detail, with a keen interest to problem solve and provide competent solutions to a range of briefs. Enthusiastic to learn, I am a proactive worker, thinking critically throughout projects with an ability to understand and respond to feedback.
